  1. Last year during Art-A-Whirl, I went to a huge book sale. I can’t remember who put it on and can’t find any information about any sale at Casket Arts this year. Could you tell me anything you know and if there will be a sale this year? Thanks!

    • Yes—The sale was on the first floor in the main building—-I’m sure he will be doing it again this year! Follow the signs–enter from the front or from the rear garage door to the right side of the main entrance off the parking lot.

  2. I am escorting a motorcoach group to attend 1st Thursdays at Northrup King on 6-4-09. Are you within walking distance from their site. Thank you for your advise. Patty Cole

    • Hi Patty–
It’s possible to walk from there but I’m not sure how direct it is—(I always take the shortcut over tracks and thru fields I think… : )

  3. How is access to your building for wheelchair guests? Parking and access are things I have to be concerned about. Thanks

  4. Is there a section on your website that gives the history of the Casket Arts building?

  5. Bruce—The Northwestern Casket Company dates back to 1887, making it one of the oldest buildings in the twin cities. The building served as a casket factory until January of 2005, and the current owners are breathing new life into the building with the goal of creating space for artists and a commercial studio.
